Did you know that Giraffes have very long tongues that strip leaves from the top of trees?
We also found out that they are the only animal who moves both his right legs together then left legs.
Whilst exploring monkeys we found out that there are over 200 different species of monkey.
Their thumbs face a different way to the rest of their fingers.
Their tails are very important as they help them balance.
We had lots of fun exploring these animals! Next we are going to find out about snakes (though Miss Tudor is not very happy about this) and elephants. We also thought we would have a look at kangaroos.

Today we have finished off some cards and presents for some very important people.
We have been talking about our mums and what they do for us ahead of Mothers day on Sunday. We hope they like their cards and presents.
