The school council have been busy choosing new games for lunchtime out of their budget great meeting this week to update action plan and to see what we need to do for rest of term. All children enthusiastic start to term well done
Members of the school council have been working hard to update the very popular maths trail around the school. They have decided to replace the kites with balloons and are in the process of composing problems and linking them to QR codes for the rest of the children to scan and solve the problems. They are creating problems at all levels so the whole school will be able to access this resource Da Iawn School Council have had a very successful response to their introduction of the school tie. They have carried out tireless research questionnaires and have even modelled the tie in all classes. We are now completely sold out the children look extremely smart and the school are awaiting new stock to go on sale soon at the very reasonable price of £2.75 New committee established for School Council, chairperson, secretary and treasurers appointed. Members have completed action plan and are already working through their first target. Very efficient secretary recording minutes, writing agendas and typing targets . Da iawn
The new School Council are meeting Wednesday, some great ideas so far for our new action plan. Lots to sort and plan for the coming year, all looking forward.
The new School Council for 2014- 2015 has been chosen and are meeting next week to finalise ideas on the action plan. We just need to see how much money Mr. Dacey will give us for the forthcoming year!!
Children have been writing manifestos in the hope of achieving a place on the new school council. Elections will take place next week and a new action plan will be set up. Many ideas from last term are still ongoing projects and we look forward to updating you on these as well as sharing new ideas.
The school Council have reviewed their Action Plan in the last 2 weeks and have embarked on various challenges. The numeracy trail has been set up around the school and the older members of the School Council have enjoyed writing problems. They have also linked the answers to QR codes so children can scan and find the correct answer. Younger members have conducted a school survey to find out what different fruit children would like to see in their healthy tuck shop. A school Council suggestion box has also been set up near reception. The School Council is always looking for new ideas. The older members are giving information on their updated plan in assemble Friday. We are all looking forward to hearing ideas.
