Our topic for this term has been 'Timelord' so we decided to take a step back in time and investigate what it was like to live during World War Two.
This week we have been looking at many poems depicting feelings and scenes from this very sad but equally as proud time in history.
Firstly we decided on which poems were our favourite and why. We then practised reciting these making sure we were following our success criteria.
We particularly enjoyed using our bodies to add background sounds and actions to the poems.

We have been learning all about the gas mask and the uses of it during World War 2. Did you know that no gas attacks were actually made during the war? Take a look at how we designed and made our own replicas below.
We have also been making our own Evacuee tags, making sure all our information was correct and making them look genuine by using tea bags!
