Another action packed day today with Astro Workshops. This morning we learnt all about Newton's laws of motion. We loved finding all about Sir Issac Newton and gravity. We looked at aerodynamics and how to make a rocket travel further into the air.
We then had to design and make our rockets. We had to decide how many fins it would have and we had to make sure it was aerodynamic.

Then we had to launch our rockets using an air compressor to power the rockets. We timed how long they were in the air and then we used a formula work out how many metres it travelled into the air. GP's rocket went the furthest. It travelled 47.4 metres. We had so much fun and learnt so much too.
