Our Saint Davids' Day celebrations were a great success and was enjoyed by children and staff alike.
We 'kick started' our celebrations with a whole school assembly to introduce our activities and to share our ideas about "what it means to be Welsh"
Miss Tudor and her fantastic Folk dancers performed for us. They were BENDIGEDIG!!
We separated into groups- Early Years, Foundation Phase and Key stage 2. Throughout the day the children took part in a number of activities to help us celebrate being proud to be Welsh.
Dosbarth Gwyn enjoyed working in their house teams with the rest of Key Stage 2 to make lovespoons, learn about and perform the story of the dragon, play Welsh themed games and to Complete dragons den Welsh themed challenges.
We gathered in the hall at the end of the day for the chairing of the bard- da iawn LE (@dosbarth Aur) the spectacular flower dance performed by year 6 girls and for some WOWDERFUL whole school singing!
