Today we had a wonderful Remembrance day service. It was led by our class and some children from year 6. We gave a presentation all about what Remembrance day is about and why we wear a poppy. Father Phillip from St. Thomas' Church then led our service. The Mid Rhondda branch of the war veterans then paraded with their flags. We had the last post and held the two minute silence at 11am. After the service some of our class spoke to the veterans about why we have Remembrance and its importance.
This afternoon we were peer mentoring with Dosbarth Porffor. We showed them how to use hwb+ and its features. Working together we accessed the site, changed the theme, uploaded photos for our avatar and made comments on the discussion board. We had lots of fun and found out how difficult it is sometimes to be the teacher!
